Nets 82, Magic 74: Center Brook Lopez scored a game-high 20 points and host Brooklyn held off a late rally to beat Orlando for the second time in three days.

Kris Humphries had a huge game inside with 14 points and 21 rebounds and the Nets built a 20-point second-quarter lead en route to sending the Magic to their fourth consecutive defeat.

Glen Davis had 19 points and 10 rebounds, Arron Afflalo also scored 19 and Nikola Vucevic added a double-double with 14 points and 12 boards for Orlando, which has failed to crack 75 points in its last three losses.

Point guard Deron Williams finished with 17 points and seven assists for the Nets, who appeared to be intent on duplicating Friday's 39-point thrashing of the Magic in Orlando. They received six points from C.J. Watson in an 11-0 run to close the first quarter for a 35-17 lead.

But Brooklyn went cold afterward, shooting 26.8 percent (11-of-41) overall and 1-of-12 from behind the arc in the middle two periods, allowing Orlando to get as close as five points in the fourth quarter before Lopez hit a runner in the lane for a 79-72 lead with 59.1 seconds to play.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Humphries had his fourth career 20-rebound game and helped Brooklyn control the glass 55-41. ... Magic PG Jameer Nelson sat out his fourth consecutive game with injuries to his groin and hamstring. ... The Nets were without F Gerald Wallace for the fourth straight game with a sprained left ankle. G MarShon Brooks also missed his second game in a row with an ankle injury.
