Magic 115, Suns 94: J.J. Redick scored 24 points, Arron Afflalo and Glen Davis added 22 points apiece and host Orlando recovered from a 14-point second-half deficit to knock off Phoenix.

Nikola Vucevic added 18 points and 13 rebounds and E’Twaun Moore made three 3-pointers as part of 15-point, six-assist effort for the Magic, who were 9-for-11 from 3-point range while winning their second straight game to start the campaign.

Luis Scola scored 24 points and Michael Beasley added 22 for the Suns, who shot just 35.6 percent in the second half while letting a 10-point halftime lead slip away.

Davis had 14 points and Afflalo tallied 10 during the decisive third quarter as Orlando outscored Phoenix 40-20 in the stanza. The Magic led by double digits for the entire fourth quarter.

The Suns led 68-54 after Beasley’s basket with 8:18 to play in the third before the Magic exploded on a 32-8 quarter-ending run to take an 86-76 lead into the final frame.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Magic guard Jameer Nelson (leg) joined forward Hedo Turkoglu (broken hand) in missing the contest. … Phoenix committed 16 turnovers and was just 11-of-18 from the free-throw line and 5-of-19 from 3-point range. … Orlando’s Gustavo Ayon (thumb) played for the first time this season and was scoreless in nine minutes.
