SPURS 120, WARRIORS 99: Gary Neal had 17 points, Tiago Splitter scored 15 and Tim Duncan 13 as visiting San Antonio cruised past injury-plagued Golden State.

The Spurs (43-16) won for the 14th consecutive time over the Warriors and moved percentage points ahead of Oklahoma City (44-17) atop the Western Conference.

The Spurs got plenty of rest for their starters as they travel to face the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday.

Manu Ginobili had 12 points, Daniel Green 11 and DeJuan Blair 10.

Golden State was without David Lee, Stephen Curry, Andrew Bogut and Richard Jefferson. The Warriors, who have lost six in a row at home to the Spurs, started four rookies – Klay Thompson, Jeremy Tyler, Mickell Gladness and Charles Jenkins.

Nate Robinson had s season-best 30 points and seven assists and Thompson had 29 points and eight rebounds for Golden State, which has lost 12 of 14. Dorell Wright scored 17 and Tyler had 11 points and 10 rebounds.

San Antonio has won 47 of the past 54 games against the Warriors.

The Spurs scored 39 points in the first quarter, matching their season high, and made 14 of 17 free throws to lead 39-24.

San Antonio increased its lead to 70-49 at halftime as Duncan had 13 points and Ginobili 12. Thompson scored 14 for the Warriors and Wright 13.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Golden State’s four rookie starters were a first for the Warriors since at least 1970, the year the Elias Sports Bureau started tracking games. … The Warriors signed free-agent center Mikki Moore to a contract. Moore, a 12-year NBA veteran, was called-up from the Idaho Stampede of the NBA Development League. Moore had four rebounds in nine minutes. … San Antonio outrebounded the Warriors 31-19 in the first half.
