CLIPPERS 100, THUNDER 98: Chris Paul drove for the decisive layup with 8.8 seconds left to cap a 31-point effort as visiting Los Angeles stunned Oklahoma City.

Blake Griffin had 16 points and 12 rebounds as the Clippers remained 1 1/2 games behind the Los Angeles Lakers in the Pacific Division race.

Oklahoma City’s Kevin Durant scored 22 points but had his 3-point attempt with two seconds remaining bounce off the back of the rim.

Russell Westbrook added 20 for the Thunder, who remain one game ahead of the San Antonio Spurs for the best record in the Western Conference.

Paul had 24 second-half points as Los Angeles overcame a seven-point halftime deficit.

The Clippers led 98-93 with 1:19 to play after a tip-in by Paul but Oklahoma City received a basket from Serge Ibaka 15 seconds later and Durant drained the game-tying 3-pointer with 32.2 seconds to play.

Paul then put an exclamation point on his performance by driving through the lane to his the go-ahead hoop.

James Harden scored 17 points for the Thunder.

Oklahoma City led 24-21 after one quarter and opened up an 11-point lead four-plus minutes into the second quarter. Derek Fisher scored eight straight Thunder points, including two 3-pointers to give Oklahoma City a 39-28 lead. The Thunder led 55-48 at halftime.

Oklahoma City led 62-53 with nine minutes left before Los Angeles began its comeback.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Los Angeles hit all 14 of its free-throw attempts in the third quarter. … The Thunder hit 12 of 26 3-point attempts. … Clippers guard Mo Williams (left big toe) missed his 11th consecutive contest. … Westbrook was 3 of 14 from the field.
