CLIPPERS 87, PISTONS 83 (OT): Chris Paul barely missed his first triple-double of the season as host Los Angeles rallied for a second straight day to win back-to-back games for the first time in over a month.

Paul scored nine of his 19 points in overtime to go with a season-high 15 assists and nine rebounds as the Clippers finished their six-game homestand with a 3-3 mark.

One day after scoring 12 points in the final 2:42 of regulation to beat Houston, Paul also came up big defensively by making a steal on a jump ball and feeding Randy Foye for a layup and 85-82 lead with seven seconds left. He added a pair of clinching free throws with three seconds to play.

Blake Griffith had 17 points and 11 rebounds and Foye added 14 points, including a pair of 3-pointers that helped Los Angeles erase a nine-point fourth-quarter lead.

The Clippers won back-to-back games for the first time since beating Washington and Portland on Feb. 15-16.

Greg Monroe had 23 points and 15 rebounds - his 22nd double-double of the season - but it wasn't enough to prevent Detroit from dropping to 4-18 on the road.

The Pistons led 69-60 on Damien Wilkins with seven minutes to play, but Foye's 3-pointers ignited a 14-4 run, including a tip-in by Griffin with 19.2 seconds left to send the game into OT.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Clippers guard Nick Young, who was acquired in a trade with the Washington Wizards, scored nine points in his Los Angeles debut. ... Pistons G Brandon Knight was 0 of 7 from behind the arc and still needs three 3-pointers to surpass Lindsay Hunter for the team's single-season rookie record. Detroit was 2 of 16 from 3-point range and the Clippers were 4 of 20.
