PISTONS 124, KINGS 112: Rodney Stuckey scored 19 of his game-high 35 points in a big third quarter as red-hot Detroit easily handled host Sacramento.

Stuckey had nearly half of Detroit's 40 third-quarter points as the Pistons turned a one-point halftime deficit into an insurmountable 97-81 advantage, then coasted through the fourth quarter for their fourth win in the past five games.

The trio of Stuckey, Tayshaun Prince and Greg Monroe terrorized the Kings from start to finish. The three combined for 95 points on 37-of-58 from the field, helping Detroit finish at 58.1 percent for the game.

Tyreke Evans poured in 23 points to pace the Kings (14-29), who have dropped three straight to fall to 2-3 on their season-high nine-game homestand.

After trailing by as many as 16 points in the first half, Detroit stormed back in the second and third quarters to turn things around.

A Prince 20-footer gave Detroit the lead for good less than two minutes into the second half. After the Pistons had stretched the lead to eight, Stuckey quashed Sacramento's comeback chances with 3-pointers on three straight possessions later in the frame.

Brandon Knight added 10 points and 10 assists for Detroit.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Prince's final basket of the night moved him past John Long and into ninth place on the franchise scoring list. ... Monroe's 32 points equaled a career-high, while Stuckey fell just five points short of his previous best. ... Prince and Stuckey combined to make seven of Detroit's eight 3-pointers. Sacramento shot just 5 for 19 from beyond the arc.
