Ty Lawson hit a 3-pointer with four seconds left in overtime and Arron Afflalo scored a career-high 32 points to help host Denver extend its winning streak to four games.

Afflalo hit a 3-pointer with nine seconds left in regulation to bring Denver within 106-105. After Sacramento's Isaiah Thomas made two free throws with seven seconds to go, Marcus Thornton fouled Afflalo while attempting a 3-pointer with six-tenths of a second left. Afflalo hit all three free throws to complete Denver's comeback from five down with 14 seconds remaining.

Denver has won five in a row versus Sacramento, which is mired in a four-game losing skid and has lost eight of its last nine road tilts.

Lawson finished with 16 points and 13 assists for his third straight double-double.

Thornton finished with 27 points, including six 3-pointers. Backcourt mate Tyreke Evans also scored 27 points, including a slick drive to the basket to tie the game at 116-116 with 24 seconds left in overtime.

Nuggets rookie forward Kenneth Faried finished with a season-high 20 points and 12 rebounds.

Denver returned forwards Danilo Gallinari and Nene, who played limited minutes off the bench.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Denver scored 24 points off 18 Sacramento turnovers. … Denver, which is second in the league in bench scoring, got 35 points from its reserves. … Denver's Corey Brewer celebrated his 26th birthday.
