JAZZ 104, ROCKETS 83: C.J. Miles scored 27 points off the bench as host Utah dominated the middle part of the game and snapped its four-game slide while ending Houston’s four-game winning streak.

Devin Harris added 19 points and Al Jefferson collected 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Jazz, who held a team under 100 points for the first time in six games. Utah closes February with a 4-11 record for the month.

The Rockets started off strong, building a 26-18 lead after the first quarter. But Houston, which was playing the second night of a back-to-back set, quickly appeared to lose its legs.

The Jazz outscored the Rockets 31-18 in the second quarter and never looked back. Miles hit a pair of 3-pointers in the third quarter and scored six more points at the start of the fourth before Utah emptied the bench.

The Jazz ended up outscoring Houston 86-57 after the first quarter.

Luis Scola scored 12 of his 18 points in the first quarter and added 10 rebounds to lead the Rockets.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Rockets PG Kyle Lowry committed season-high eight turnovers and G Kevin Martin was held to six points on 2-for-10 shooting … Utah dominated the glass, 50-34 …. Houston returns home for games against Denver and the Los Angeles Clippers before embarking on a five-game road trip.
