DeMar DeRozan scored 27 points to pace the Toronto Raptors to a 94-73 win over the New Jersey Nets on Sunday.

Toronto finished its five-game road trip with a 3-2 record and picked up its eighth win over New Jersey in the team’s last 11 meetings.

DeRozan stepped up with star forward Andrea Bargnani out of the lineup due to a calf strain. He shot 8 for 12 from the field and aggressively attacked the hoop, getting 11 of his points from the foul line.

Jerryd Bayless scored 17 points and injected the offense with speed and energy, most notably on a backdoor alley-oop toss from Jose Calderon.

New Jersey was ice cold from the field, shooting 36.5 percent and scoring a total of just 29 points over the second and third quarters. The Nets struggled to hang on to the ball, coughing up 15 turnovers

Nets point guard Deron Williams continued to carry the team, scoring 24 points – giving him 85 total points over the last three contests. Anthony Morrow finished with 14 points.

Toronto shot 51.5 percent from the field and had four players in double figures, including Linas Kleiza, who chipped in with 15 points off the bench.
