Jonas Jerebko tied a career high with 22 points and grabbed nine rebounds as the visiting Detroit Pistons snapped a six-game losing streak with a 98-81 victory over the reeling Charlotte Bobcats on Friday night.

Center Greg Monroe added 19 points and nine rebounds to help Detroit win on the road for the first time in six attempts and send the Bobcats to their sixth consecutive defeat.

All five starters were in double figures for the Pistons, who scored a season-high point total and eclipsed 90 for only the third time.

Jerebko, who missed all of last season with a torn Achilles' tendon, provided an early spark with 12 first-quarter points. He finished 9 of 12 from the floor and helped Detroit to a 46-34 edge on the backboards.

Charlotte center Byron Mullens made his second straight start and again topped the team in scoring with 18 points. Rookie Kemba Walker came off the bench and had 16 points.

The Pistons broke the game open in the second quarter when Rodney Stuckey scored six points in an 8-0 run to make it 51-37 en route to a 51-39 halftime edge. Charlotte never got the lead under double digits thereafter.
