Paul George scored 21 points and hit all five 3-point attempts to lead the Indiana Pacers to a 108-94 victory over the host New Jersey Nets on Monday.

Danny Granger scored 15 points and David West added 13 as Indiana (4-1) moved into a first-place tie in the Central Division with the Chicago Bulls.

Deron Williams had 22 points and eight assists and rookie MarShon Brooks tallied 21 points for New Jersey (1-5), which lost its fifth consecutive contest.

Indiana shot a season-high 52.6 percent from the field and made 13-of-21 3-point attempts.

The Pacers led by six points at halftime and began pulling away in the third quarter when George capped a 12-2 spurt with a 3-pointer for a 77-62 lead in the final minute of the period.

A 3-pointer by Dahntay Jones boosted Indiana’s lead to 97-79 with 4:30 to play, and George hit another 3 a short time later to boost the lead to a game-high 19 points.

The Nets, who never led while playing for the sixth time in eight nights, were just 7-for-28 from 3-point range.

New Jersey played without center Brook Lopez (foot) and forward Kris Humphries (shoulder).
