Antawn Jamison had 23 points and the Cleveland Cavaliers rode their hot long-range shooting to hand the New Jersey Nets their fourth-straight loss with a 98-82 home win on Sunday.
The Cavaliers made 16 3-pointers, one shy of the club record. They shot 62 percent (16 of 26) on 3s.
Daniel Gibson, Alonzo Gee and rookie Kyrie Irving combined for 11 of the 16 from long range. It was the most 3-pointers the Cavs have hit in a game since Jan. 31, 2010.
Gibson finished with 19 points and Irving had 13 points, four assists and four rebounds. The Cavs, who lead the Eastern Conference in bench scoring at 45.3 points per game, received 47 from the reserves.
Deron Williams had 16 points to lead New Jersey but continued his shooting woes, hitting 6 of 16. Anthony Morrow had 15 points off the bench for the Nets, who played their third game in four nights and lost them all.
The Cavs trailed by six at the half but grabbed control by outscoring the Nets 30-18 in the third.
