Derek Fisher's driving layup at the buzzer gave the Los Angeles Lakers an 87-86 victory over their rival Clippers in a thrilling finish at Staples Center on Wednesday night.

Kobe Bryant scored two baskets to give the Lakers (16-6) an 85-84 lead with 22 seconds left, but DeAndre Jordan dunked with 15.5 seconds remaining for an 86-85 edge.

The Lakers called time with three seconds left and Fisher came through just before the final horn.

Bryant scored 24 points, Shannon Brown added 16 and Pau Gasol had 10 and 10 rebounds for the Lakers.

Eric Gordon led the Clippers' fourth-quarter charge and finished with 24 points. Rookie Blake Griffin had 16 points and 11 rebounds for the Clippers (5-18).

The Clippers played without center Chris Kaman (ankle) and Brian Cook, who served the second game of a two-game suspension.
