Marcin Gortat led a balanced Phoenix effort with 18 points as the Suns routed visiting Golden State 108-97 Friday night for their 12th consecutive victory over the Warriors at US Airways Center.

Steve Nash, fighting a pelvic injury, had 17 points and 10 assists as Phoenix (34-33) snapped a four-game losing streak. Channing Frye had 17 points and nine rebounds and Grant Hill scored 17.

Dorell Wright's 30 points led Golden State (30-39), which last won at Phoenix on March 18, 2005.

Gortat continued his solid play off the bench, going 7 for 11 and grabbing eight rebounds, and it seems just a matter of time before he replaces Robin Lopez as Phoenix's starting center. Lopez played just seven minutes, and had six points and four rebounds.

David Lee had 16 points and 10 rebounds and Stephen Curry scored 15 for the Warriors, while leading scorer Monta Ellis failed to reach double figures for only the fourth time this year as he was limited to eight points on 3-of-11 shooting.

Golden State center Andris Biedrins did not make the trip as he recovers from a sprained left ankle.
