Russell Westbrook scored 31 points and Kevin Durant added 29 as the host Oklahoma City Thunder recorded a 106-94 victory against the undermanned Utah Jazz on Wednesday night.

Serge Ibaka had 15 points and 13 rebounds for the Thunder (46-24), who have won seven of eight and still have three games left on this six-game homestand.

Al Jefferson had 32 points and 12 rebounds as the Jazz (36-36) lost for the 14th time in19 games and fell four games behind Memphis for the race for the eighth seed in the Western Conference.

Devin Harris (hamstring) and Derrick Favors (ankle) didn’t play for Utah, and Andrei Kirilenko left in the first half with a bruised left knee and did not return.

Durant and Westbrook scored 12 apiece in the opening 12 minutes as the Thunder took a 32-25 lead. They maintained a five-point cushion at the half and closed the third on a 15-6 run, getting five from Durant and four from Westbrook, to take a 78-69 lead into the fourth.

Consecutive 3-pointers by Durant midway through the fourth pushed the lead to 96-80 and the Jazz never mounted a challenge.

Westbrook shot 11 of 17 from the field, Durant connected on 7-of-12 shots from the floor and 13 of 15 from the line.
