LaMarcus Aldridge had 24 points and 11 rebounds and the host Trail Blazers opened the second half with a 21-5 run in sending the Los Angeles Lakers to their fourth straight loss, 93-86 on Friday.

Gerald Wallace added 19 points and 13 rebounds, and Wesley Matthews had 18 points, including the first six during the decisive run for the Trail Blazers. Andre Miller chipped in 13 assists and 12 points.

Portland (47-33) maintained its half-game lead over New Orleans for sixth in the West and won for the first time in four games against Los Angeles this season.

Kobe Bryant scored 24 points, and Lamar Odom had 14 rebounds and 13 points for the Lakers (55-24), whose lead over third-place Dallas in the West is down to one game.

The Lakers are averaging 87 points during the losing streak.

Portland went on a 19-2 run, led by three 3-pointers by Wallace, to take a 55-43 lead midway through the second quarter.

Bryant scored the last 14 Lakers points of the first half, including four 3-pointers in the final 2:26, as Los Angeles cut the deficit in half and trailed 53-47 at halftime.
