Monta Ellis scored 30 points, David Lee had 29 and a season-high 20 rebounds and the Golden State Warriors ended an eight-game road losing streak with a 108-87 victory over the playoff-bound Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday night.

Despite seeing its eight-game home winning streak come to an end, Portland (45-33) clinched a playoff berth thanks to Houston’s loss to Sacramento earlier Tuesday.

Ellis, playing on a strained right ankle, came in averaging 32.5 points this season against the Blazers. He and Lee combined for 20 points in the decisive third quarter, when the Warriors outscored Portland 17-3 over the final six minutes to take control.

Stephen Curry added 22 points for the Warriors, who got just 13 points from their bench.

LaMarcus Aldridge had 17 points and 12 rebounds and Wes Matthews scored 17 points for the Blazers, who remain sixth in the West, just a half-game ahead of idle New Orleans and one game ahead of Memphis.
