Arron Afflalo scored a career-high 31 points and Carmelo Anthony added 28 as the Denver Nuggets rolled to a 132-98 victory over the visiting Phoenix Suns on Tuesday.
Afflalo made 11-of-14 shots and had nine rebounds as Denver (21-16) snapped a three-game skid. The points were the second-highest total of the season for the Nuggets, who beat the Suns, 138-133, on Nov. 28.
Steve Nash and Vince Carter scored 15 points apiece for Phoenix (15-21).
The Nuggets trailed by 12 points after the first quarter before outscoring the Suns, 82-40, over the second and third quarters.
Ty Lawson scored 16 points and J.R. Smith scored 15 as Denver shot 56 percent from the floor. Nene added 11 points, Al Harrington 10 and Anthony had 10 rebounds.
Channing Frye, Goran Dragic and Marcin Gortat scored 11 points apiece for the Suns, who trailed, 102-72, entering the final quarter.
