LeBron James collected 41 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists Tuesday as the host Miami Heat outlasted the Indiana Pacers, 117-112, for their seventh straight victory.
Chris Bosh added 19 points and Dwyane Wade chipped in 17 and seven assists for the Heat, who rallied from a 14-point deficit and avenged a home loss to the Pacers earlier this season.
The Pacers took the lead with a 15-0 run early in the second quarter and led by as much as 66-52 before Mario Chalmers and James combined on a 11-0 burst run to cut it to 66-63 at the break.
Indiana pushed it to double digits again in the third quarter and led by nine early in the fourth period before Miami began to creep back into it.
Bosh drove for a layup at the 9:47 mark to kick off a 14-4 spurt, with the Heat taking the lead at 106-105 on Erick Dampier’s basket with 4:33 remaining. Roy Hibbert split a pair of free throws to tie it, but James - who made 15-of-23 shots - scored seven points in the last 2:06 to push Miami to the win.
Hibbert had 20 points and 10 rebounds before fouling out and Danny Granger scored 19 for the Pacers, who lost for the first time in five games under interim coach Frank Vogel.
