Russell Westbrook kept Oklahoma City in the game until Kevin Durant found his range and provided the Thunder a 110-106 overtime victory over the Indiana Pacers on Friday night.
Westbrook scored 43 points and added eight rebounds and eight assists while Durant had 25 points on 9-of-26 shooting for Oklahoma City, which improved to 6-1 this season on the road and play six of their next eight away from home.
Durant scored five points, including a three-point play off a runner, and Westbrook scored four and added a big block as the Thunder erased a five-point deficit and pulled even at 96-96 with 47 seconds left.
Durant had a chance to win it at the buzzer, but his long jumper missed. The defending scoring champion opened the overtime with a long jumper, then stuck two jumpers on consecutive possessions inside of one minute to provide the Thunder a 106-103 lead.
Danny Granger missed a 3-pointer with nine seconds left that would have tied it.
Granger scored 30 points and Roy Hibbert had 19 points and 10 rebounds for the Pacers, who had a two-game winning streak snapped after leading by 15 points in the third quarter.
