Detroit 115, Washington 110

Richard Hamilton scored 27 points - including his team's first 12 points in overtime - as the Detroit Pistons held on for a 115-110 home victory against the Washington Wizards on Sunday at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

Charlie Villanueva added 25 points including a layup with 20.9 seconds left in regulation to tie the game at 102-102 and force overtime. Villanueva also grabbed 11 rebounds for the Pistons (5-8).

Washington (4-8) led by as many as seven in the fourth quarter, but Villanueva scored 11 points in the final session to help close the gap.

Rodney Stuckey had 15 points and seven assists for the Pistons, and Jason Maxiell added 14 points and five rebounds.

Andray Blatche and JaVale McKee scored 20 points apiece and Gilbert Arenas added 19 points and 16 assists for the Wizards, who were without top pick and leading scorer John Wall for the fourth consecutive game.

Nick Young scored 18 off the bench for Washington, which shot 53.9 percent from the field.
