DeMar DeRozan scored 24 points and Jerryd Bayless added 23 and eight assists as the Toronto Raptors snapped a six-game slide with a 102-98 victory over the visiting Orlando Magic on Sunday.

Reggie Evans collected 17 rebounds and Leandro Barbosa chipped in 14 points off the bench for Toronto, which shot 51 percent (40 of 79) from the floor despite leading scorer Andrea Bargnani sitting out with an ankle injury.

Dwight Howard scored 31 points but had his double-double streak come to an end at 33 games as he managed only nine rebounds for Orlando (48-29).

The Raptors took the lead, 90-86, with 6:41 remaining when James Johnson capped a 13-2 burst with a mid-range jumper. The Magic scored four quick points to tie it, but DeRozan went on his own 5-2 run to put Toronto back in control.

Brandon Bass would pull Orlando back to within a basket, 97-95, with 1:35 left, but Jameer Nelson turned the ball over on the next possession and the Magic were forced to foul.

Bayless hit five free throws in the final 24 seconds to seal it for the Raptors (21-55).
