DeJuan Blair energized his team with 12 of his 22 points in a decisive third quarter and 11 rebounds as the San Antonio Spurs posted their seventh straight win, a 104-95 home victory over the struggling Toronto Raptors on Wednesday.

Manu Ginobili scored 23 points for the Spurs, who won their 16th straight home game and improved to an NBA-best 36-6.

Blair sparked a 15-4 run to start the third quarter with eight points as the Spurs pulled into a 57-57 tie with seven minutes left. The burly big man scored four points during a 16-4 surge to close the period as San Antonio took a 75-69 lead into the fourth quarter and steadily pulled away thereafter.

The Spurs pushed the edge to 14 with six minutes left. When the Raptors closed within six, George Hill hit a dagger 3-pointer with 2:05 left to restore order.

San Antonio scored 62 points on 57.5 percent shooting (23-of-40) in the second half.

DeMar DeRozan scored 28 points for the Raptors, who lost their fifth straight game and conclude their five-game road trip with stops in Orlando and Miami.

The Spurs looked lethargic as they shot under 35 percent and committed 12 turnovers in the first half while DeRozan went off for 20 points to give the Raptors a 53-42 lead.
