Rafael Ortega belted a walk-off two-run home run against Rockies Daniel Bard as the host Chicago Cubs snapped a franchise-record 13-game home losing streak with a 6-4 victory over Colorado on Monday night.

Chicago erased a 4-1 deficit after seven innings with three runs in the eighth and two more in the ninth. It all added up to the Cubs' first win at Wrigley Field since July 26.

Ian Happ paced the Cubs with three hits, including two doubles, while Codi Heuer and Manuel Rodriguez both logged one inning of scoreless relief following a resilient start from Kyle Hendricks.

Making his 200th career start, Hendricks yielded four runs and nine hits in seven innings with six strikeouts. He did not walk a batter for the eighth time in 26 starts this season.

The Rockies reached Hendricks for three runs in the first inning, as Charlie Blackmon had an RBI single and Sam Hilliard singled in two more runs three batters later. Hilliard tried to stretch the hit into a double, but left fielder Happ threw Hilliard out to end the inning.

C.J. Cron had three hits for the Rockies, who lost their second straight. Leadoff man Connor Joe added two hits.

Rockies starter Antonio Senzatela was again unable to pick up his first win since June 2 despite contributing his third straight quality start, allowing one run on five hits in six innings with two walks and six strikeouts.

The Cubs capitalized on reliever Jhoulys Chacin's wildness in the eighth, tying the game at 4-all with a three-run rally. After Chacin walked the bases loaded on 12 pitches, right-hander Carlos Estevez was brought in.

Patrick Wisdom greeted him with an RBI single from Patrick Wisdom, and another run scored on a double play grounder to make it 4-3. Michael Hermosillo then hit a tying double to left.

Bard fell to 7-6 with the loss, allowing two runs and two hits in one-third of an inning. Rodriguez struck out one in his scoreless ninth and improved to 2-2.

The Rockies went 2-for-9 with runners in scoring position, and the Cubs went 2-for-8.
