Lucas Giolito allowed just an infield single over the first 7 1/3 innings and Eloy Jimenez hit two home runs and drove in five runs to lead the Chicago White Sox to an 11-1 victory over the Minnesota Twins on Monday night in Minneapolis.

Giolito (9-8), aided by a pair of double plays, faced the minimum 21 batters over the first seven innings. He didn't allow a hit until the fifth inning, when Luis Arraez led off with a comebacker that ricocheted off the pitcher's lower right leg toward third base for a single.

Giolito lost his shutout bid with one out in the eighth when Miguel Sano lined his 19th homer of the season into the second deck in left to make it 10-1. The right-hander allowed one run on two hits and hit a batter over eight innings while striking out eight.

Jimenez, who hit two home runs and had five RBIs in Chicago's 9-3 victory over the Cubs at Wrigley Field on Sunday night, went 2-for-4 and became the first White Sox player in franchise history to have consecutive games with two homers and five or more RBIs.

Tim Anderson went 3-for-5 with a home run, two RBIs and two runs, Yoan Moncada homered and had two hits and Luis Robert, playing for the first time since sustaining a right hip flexor injury on May 2, also had two hits as Chicago improved to 13-4 this season against the Twins with its fourth straight victory overall.

Chicago jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the first two innings against Twins right-hander Beau Burrows (0-1), who was making his first major league start.

Anderson opened the scoring with his 12th homer of the season, the 12th time in his career that he led off a game with a home run. Cesar Hernandez followed with a walk and scored one out later on Jimenez's 454-foot blast off the facing of the restaurant above the batter's eye in center field.

The White Sox added another run later in the inning when first baseman Sano dropped Robert's popup, which allowed Brian Goodwin, who had doubled, to score.

Jimenez then made it 7-0 in the second inning with a three-run homer down the left field line, driving in Anderson, who had singled, and Hernandez, who had walked.

Robert added an RBI double in the fifth to make it 8-0, Goodwin had a sacrifice fly in the seventh and Anderson made it 10-0 in the eighth with an RBI single. Moncada ended the scoring with his 10th homer of the season in the ninth.
