German Marquez tossed a seven-inning complete game, Josh Fuentes homered and drove in four runs, and the host Colorado Rockies beat the New York Mets 7-2 in the second game of a doubleheader on Saturday night.

Marquez allowed just two hits and got one of his own in his last at-bat, and Garrett Hampson had two hits for the Rockies, who snapped a seven-game losing streak.

Marquez (1-1) gave the Rockies bullpen a breather with the complete game. He walked two and struck out six and threw 53 of his 87 pitches for strikes.

Jeff McNeil doubled in the only runs for the Mets. New York won the opener of the doubleheader with a rally in the seventh, 4-3.

The Rockies quickly turned the page on the tough loss in the first game by jumping on lefty Joey Lucchesi (0-1).

Hampson led off the bottom of the first with a double and Ryan McMahon reached on an infield single to put runners at the corners. Trevor Story drove in Hampson with a sacrifice fly, Charlie Blackmon followed with a single and C.J. Cron doubled to score McMahon from second. Blackmon came home on a slow groundout by Fuentes to give Colorado a 3-0 lead.

Lucchesi allowed three runs on four hits and struck out three in three innings.

Marquez cruised through the first three innings but gave up a single to Brandon Nimmo and a walk to Francisco Lindor leading off the fourth.

He struck out the next two batters but McNeil doubled to drive in both runners and cut the lead to 3-2.

The Rockies padded their lead with a big fifth inning against reliever Jacob Barnes. Hampson led off with a single and one out later went to third on Story's single. Blackmon hit a dribbler to second for the second out but Hampson scored easily to make it 4-2.

Cron walked to put two runners on and Fuentes hit a 2-0 pitch into the seats in left field to make it a five-run game. It was his second homer of the season.
