Hyun-Jin Ryu no-hit the visiting Washington Nationals for 7 1/3 innings as the Los Angeles Dodgers won the finale of a four-game series 6-0 on Sunday afternoon.

Ryu (5-1) threw eight shutout innings to extend his overall shutout streak to 24 innings. He allowed one hit, struck out nine and walked one while lowering his ERA to 1.72.

Ryu was coming off a complete-game shutout in a 9-0 win against the visiting Atlanta Braves on Tuesday. He needed only 93 pitches in that win but threw a career-high 116 on Sunday.

Corey Seager hit a grand slam in the bottom of the eighth and drove in five runs for the Dodgers. Cody Bellinger went 3-for-3 with a walk and two runs scored, and Russell Martin had two hits.

Washington's Gerardo Parra, who hit a grand slam in the eighth inning of a 5-2 win against the Dodgers on Saturday night, ended Ryu's no-hit bid with a ground-rule double to left-center field with one out in the eighth.

Ryu appeared to lose the no-hitter with one out in the sixth when opposing starting pitcher Stephen Strasburg hit a line drive on one hop to right field, but Bellinger was playing near the foul line and threw out Strasburg at first on a close play.

Strasburg (3-3) went six innings, allowing two runs and four hits. He struck out seven and walked two.

The Nationals were also shut out 6-0 in his previous start -- in Milwaukee on Tuesday.

Bellinger walked to start the second inning and then stole his seventh base of the season. Alex Verdugo moved Bellinger to third with a groundout before Seager drove him in with a sacrifice fly for a 1-0 lead.

Strasburg didn't allow a hit until Justin Turner's one-out single in the fourth. Bellinger followed with a single to left-center field, moving Turner to third. Verdugo then grounded out to second to drive in Turner for a 2-0 lead.

Seager's second career grand slam made it 6-0.
