Nolan Arenado homered and had four hits, David Dahl and Pat Valaika also went deep, and the Colorado Rockies beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 13-9 on Friday night in Denver.

Charlie Blackmon had three hits and three runs, and Antonio Senzatela (7-5) tossed five innings to help Colorado end a 12-game losing streak to Los Angeles.

Max Muncy and Alex Verdugo homered for the Dodgers.

Los Angeles led 5-2 entering the fifth inning, when the Rockies sent 13 men to the plate and scored eight runs. Valaika got it going with a two-run homer, Blackmon scored on Ian Desmond's double, and Dahl gave the Rockies a 7-5 lead with his 11th homer.

That ended Hyun-Jin Ryu's night. Ryu (9-2) went four-plus innings, allowing seven runs on nine hits and a walk while striking out four. His major-league-leading ERA went from from 1.27 to 1.83.

After Joe Kelly replaced Ryu in the fifth, Arenado doubled, Daniel Murphy singled, and Arenado scored on one of shortstop Chris Taylor's two throwing errors in the inning.

Chris Iannetta singled and moved to third on third baseman Justin Turner's error. RBI singles by Valaika and Blackmon made it 10-5.

The Dodgers got within two in the sixth when Colorado reliever Carlos Estevez walked two and gave up a three-run homer to Muncy, his 20th of the season. Los Angeles added another on Muncy's RBI single in the eighth that made it 10-9.

A Murphy sacrifice fly and a two-run double by Iannetta in the eighth gave the Rockies a four-run cushion heading into the ninth.

The Dodgers took the lead in the first on two errors by first baseman Murphy. The first came on a potential double-play ball that allowed Verdugo to score the first run. Another error on a dribbler up the line allowed another run to score, and Taylor's single made it 3-0.

Arenado hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the first, his 20th of the season, to get Colorado within a run. Verdugo answered with a two-run shot in the fourth, his ninth of the season, to put the Dodgers ahead by three.
