Rougned Odor capped a four-RBI game with a three-run home run through a driving rain shower in the seventh inning Sunday, rallying the Texas Rangers to a 4-2 victory over the visiting Los Angeles Angels.

Matt Moore (3-6) pitched an inning of scoreless relief to pick up the victory in a game twice delayed by rain. Rangers starter Yovani Gallardo gave up two runs on six hits over six innings with a walk and six strikeouts. Jose Leclerc pitched the ninth inning for his fifth save.

Angels starter Jaime Barria gave up one run over five innings, working around seven hits and a walk with five strikeouts. He left the game following an 18-minute rain delay after the fifth inning.

Shin-Soo Choo had three hits for the Rangers, who won three of four games in the series and are 14-8 since July 27.

With Los Angeles on top 2-1, Texas' Drew Robinson and Choo had back-to-back one-out singles in the seventh inning before Odor crushed a 2-0 pitch from Noe Ramirez (4-4) over the Rangers bullpen in right-center field.

One batter after Odor's home run, the game was halted by rain for a second time, creating a 56-minute delay. The pair of delays, totaling 1 hour, 14 minutes, came one day after the Angels and Rangers had to wait 2 hours, 56 minutes to start play in a game that ended after midnight.

Odor, who has five home runs and 22 RBIs in August, drove in nine runs during the four games against the Angels. His home run Sunday was his 15th of the season.

Moore earned his second career victory in relief after also winning Thursday's series opener against the Angels. He has pitched 14 games out of the bullpen after being removed from the rotation.

The Angels scored twice in the fourth inning, doing so without a hit on both plays. Albert Pujols' grounder to first base scored David Fletcher from third. The throw home from Ronald Guzman was wide and Fletcher slid around the tag from catcher Isiah Kiner-Falefa.

Andrelton Simmons followed by grounding into a double play to score Shohei Ohtani.

The Angels are 9-9 in August and 14-15 since the All-Star break. They are 4-3 on a nine-game, three-city road trip that will move to Arizona for an interleague series starting Tuesday.
