Shohei Ohtani had four hits, including two homers, and David Fletcher's RBI double in the eighth inning snapped a 3-3 tie to help lift the Los Angeles Angels to a 7-4 win over the host Cleveland Indians Friday night.

The victory not only ended a four-game Angels losing streak but also snapped a 10-game losing streak to the Indians at Progressive Field, dating to September of 2014.

The Angels were without center fielder Mike Trout for the second game in a row because of a right wrist contusion.

Fletcher's two-strike, two-out ground-rule double off Adam Cimber -- the fifth Indians pitcher -- was the start of a four-run rally for the Angels in the inning. Jose Briceno had an RBI infield single and Eric Young Jr. added a two-run double, both off Cimber, to give Los Angeles a more comfortable cushion.

Justin Anderson (3-2), who pitched a scoreless seventh inning, got the victory over Oliver Perez (0-1). Perez faced just one batter, allowing a hit to Ohtani, who scored the go-ahead run.

Batting third for the first time in his career, Ohtani had his first career four-hit game in the majors, including his first two home runs away from Angel Stadium. He hit a two-run homer in the first inning and a solo homer in the third, both coming off Indians starter Mike Clevinger.

Ohtani also singled twice, scored three runs and stole a base.

Angels starter Jaime Barria gave up three runs on six hits and two walks in five innings, getting a no-decision. He gave up an RBI double to Michael Brantley and an RBI single to Jose Ramirez in the first inning before settling in.

Leonys Martin had an RBI single in the second inning, but the Indians didn't score again until Martin hit a solo homer with two out in the ninth.

The Angels took a first-inning lead after Kole Calhoun singled to lead off the game and scored on Ohtani's first homer one out later. Ohtani's homer in the third inning was his 11th of the season, tying the game at 3-3.

The game remained tied until the Angels put together their rally in the eighth, which began on Ohtani's single. Ohtani stole second and two batters later scored on Fletcher's game-winning double.
