Brenton Doyle homered among his two hits, Ryan McMahon and Charlie Blackmon also had two hits, and the Colorado Rockies beat the Atlanta Braves 6-5 in Denver on Friday night.

Jorge Soler, Marcell Ozuna and Ramon Laureano homered, Jarred Kelenic had three hits and Sean Murphy had two hits for the Braves, who have now dropped six straight. Their seven-game winning streak in Denver came to an end.

They got the tying run to third with two outs in the ninth before Victor Vodnik struck out Austin Riley to end the game and pick up his seventh save.

Colorado starter Tanner Gordon was in line for his first career win when the bullpen coughed up a 5-2 lead in the seventh. Laureano led off with his fourth home run of the season and Kelenic singled.

Angel Chivilli relieved Justin Lawrence and gave up Soler's two-run homer, his 13th of the season and first since being acquired from San Francisco.

Reliever A.J. Minter (5-4) gave back the lead when Doyle and McMahon led off Colorado's seventh with doubles.

Tyler Kinley (5-1) got the win for Colorado.

Gordon scattered six hits and struck out seven against an Atlanta team that had won nine straight and 13 of its last 14 against the Rockies. The Braves' losing streak has knocked them out of the third NL wild card.

Atlanta starter Grant Holmes was given a lead when Ozuna hit a two-out solo homer in the first inning, his 34th on the season, but Colorado took the lead in the third.

Blackmon singled and Doyle homered to center field, his team-leading 20th of the season. McMahon followed with a walk, stole second and scored on Brendan Rodgers' single to left to make it 3-1.

The Rockies extended the lead in the fourth when Michael Toglia led off with a walk and scored on Elias Diaz's double. Blackmon singled one out later to make it 5-1.

Atlanta got a run back in the fifth on Kelenic's double and two soft singles by Whit Merrifield and Soler but Gordon struck out Ozuna to end the inning.
