Travis Jankowski scored the winning run in the 13th inning as the Texas Rangers rallied for a 3-2 win against the visiting Los Angeles Angels on Saturday.

Jankowski was the ghost runner and advanced to third on Ezequiel Duran's pinch-hit single to lead off the inning. After Marcus Semien lined out to third, the Angels intentionally walked Corey Seager to load the bases. Reliever Carson Fulmer (0-2) hit Nathaniel Lowe on the shin with a first-pitch sinker, bringing Jankowski home.

Reliever Yerry Rodriguez (1-0) struck out one and walked one in two innings.

Seager went 2-for-4 and was intentionally walked twice. Jankowski went 1-for-2 with one run after coming in as a pinch hitter in the 10th.

The Rangers tied it 2-2 in the eighth. Semien drew a one-out walk and went to third on a Seager single. Lowe hit a sacrifice fly to center field to bring in Semien.

Jo Adell led off the seventh with a home run into the Rangers' bullpen in right field to put Los Angeles ahead 2-1.

Adolis Garcia tied it 1-1 for Texas in the sixth with his team-leading 11th homer, a solo shot to left field.

Taylor Ward homered for the third straight game to give the Angels a 1-0 lead in the fourth. Ward knocked a leadoff blast 406 feet into the left-field bleachers, his 10th of the season to tie Mike Trout for the team lead.

Los Angeles struggled to get on base early, reaching only twice through the first three innings as Mickey Moniak reached on an error in the second and Zach Neto doubled in the third.

Texas got on four times in the first three innings but couldn't take advantage. Siemen and Robbie Grossman each drew a walk in the first and second innings, respectively, while Josh Smith singled in the second and Seager had a base hit in the third.

Angels starter Patrick Sandoval gave up one run on three hits, walked three and struck out five in six innings.

In six innings, starter Jose Urena allowed one run on four hits, walked one and fanned three for Texas.

Ward went 2-for-6 and struck out twice.
