Josh Palacios hit a two-run home run in the 10th inning to give the Pittsburgh Pirates a 6-4 victory over the visiting Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday in the rubber match of a three-game series.
Against Phillies left-hander Andrew Vasquez (2-1), with automatic runner Jared Triolo at second base, Palacios hit his second homer of the season to right field.
Bryan Reynolds also hit a home run for the Pirates.
Pittsburgh left-hander Rich Hill allowed two runs and five hits in five innings, with seven strikeouts and three walks. Left-hander Angel Perdomo (2-1) pitched a scoreless 10th inning to earn the win.
Alec Bohm hit a two-run home run and an RBI single, and Bryce Harper added an RBI single for the Phillies.
Philadelphia starter Cristopher Sanchez pitched five no-hit innings, allowing five baserunners -- three hit batters and two walks. He struck out three.
In the fourth inning, Harper walked and Bohm followed with his 10th homer, to right center, for a 2-0 Philadelphia lead.
Pittsburgh had a baserunner in each of the first five innings despite being held without a hit. Sanchez was pulled after 73 pitches with the Phillies quickly taking advantage.
Right-hander Seranthony Dominguez entered in the sixth and Connor Joe led off with the Pirates' first hit, a single to right. Reynolds hit a home run to right center, his 12th, to tie it 2-2.
In the seventh inning, against Pirates left-hander Jose Hernandez, Garrett Stubbs walked and went to second on Johan Rojas' sacrifice bunt. Kyle Schwarber walked.
Carmen Mlodzinski replaced Hernandez and struck out Nick Castellanos. Harper singled down the line in right to drive in Stubbs. Bohm followed with a single to right to bring Schwarber home for a 4-2 Phillies lead.
Pittsburgh cut it to 4-3 in the bottom of the seventh. Joe reached on shortstop Trea Turner's fielding error on a high popup and scored when Reynolds singled to center as Rojas misplayed the ball for an error.
The Pirates tied it in the eighth when Triolo singled to center, went to third on Palacios' double to left and scored on Nick Gonzales' sacrifice fly to right.
