Pirates 3, Mets 2 (11): Josh Harrison delivered a walk-off RBI double in the 11th inning to lift host Pittsburgh to its second win over New York in as many nights.

Harrison drove a two-out pitch from Vic Black (1-2) into the gap in right-center to plate Clint Barmes with the winning run and make a winner of Jared Hughes (4-2), who struck out three in two scoreless innings. Jordy Mercer had a two-run single as the Pirates won for the sixth time in seven games.

Lucas Duda drove in both runs and Travis d'Arnaud collected three hits for New York, which tumbled to its third consecutive defeat. Daniel Murphy added two hits for the Mets, while Harrison and Russell Martin each had a pair for Pittsburgh.

New York put together three straight hits to open the fourth, with Duda following a single by Ruben Tejada and Murphy's double with a two-run single off the glove off Pirates first baseman Ike Davis. Pittsburgh tied it on Mercer's two-out, bases-loaded single in the bottom of the inning, a rally kept alive when Mets starter Jacob deGrom failed to cover first base on Martin's infield single.

A two-out single by d'Arnaud gave New York runners at the corners in the ninth but Mark Melancon retired Bobby Abreu to end the threat. Mets closer Jenrry Mejia fanned four in two innings and wriggled out of a no-out, second-and-third jam in the 10th.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Neither starter factored in the decision as Pirates RHP Brandon Cumpton went seven innings, allowing two runs on six hits, while Mets RHP deGrom gave up two runs on five hits over 6 2/3 innings. ... The Pirates traded RHP Jason Grilli to the Los Angeles Angels in exchange for RHP Ernesto Frieri in a swap of players who both lost their jobs as closers this season. The 37-year-old Grilli was an All-Star in 2013 but has already blown four saves this season while the 28-year-old Frieri is 0-3 with a 6.39 ERA following a 37-save campaign a year ago. ... Mets 3B David Wright, riding a 10-game hitting streak, was scratched from the lineup and sent to New York to have an MRI exam after aggravating a left shoulder injury in Thursday's loss.
