Dodgers 5, Giants 0: Clayton Kershaw threw a two-hitter and Juan Uribe recorded two hits and two RBIs as visiting Los Angeles rolled past San Francisco for the second straight game.

Kershaw (12-2) issued one walk and struck out seven while recording his ninth career shutout and fourth against San Francisco. Adrian Gonzalez went 3-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored for Los Angeles, which has won the first two games of the series by a combined score of 13-1 to pull one-half game ahead of the Giants in the National League West.

Hanley Ramirez registered two of the Dodgers’ 11 hits, including an RBI single in the fourth off Ryan Vogelsong (5-8). Los Angeles moved ahead 2-0 in the fifth as Carl Crawford and Matt Kemp began the inning with singles and Uribe followed with an RBI base hit off Vogelsong, who allowed four runs - two earned - and eight hits over six frames.

Kershaw improved to 9-0 over his last 10 outings for the Dodgers, who added two runs in the sixth on a fielder's choice grounder and Uribe’s RBI double. Jean Machi replaced Vogelsong in the seventh and allowed a leadoff single by Dee Gordon, who later scored on Gonzalez’s one-out base hit.

San Francisco lost for the 18th time in their last 24 home games and was held to Michael Morse’s single in the seventh after Gregor Blanco’s one-out base hit in the first inning. Kershaw threw 113 pitches while posting his 15th career complete game and fourth this season.

GAME NOTEBOOK: San Francisco acquired RHP Jake Peavy from the Boston Red Sox for LHP Edwin Escobar and RHP Heath Hembree. Peavy will start for the Giants in Sunday’s series finale. … Kershaw lowered his ERA to 1.40 in 24 career games (23 starts) against the Giants. … San Francisco placed Hector Sanchez on the seven-day concussion list and promoted fellow C Andrew Susac from Triple-A Fresno.
