Rockies 6, Twins 2: Troy Tulowitzki homered for the third time in two games and Jorge De La Rosa won his fourth consecutive start to pace host Colorado.

Drew Stubbs homered for the second straight game - and third in four contests, Brandon Barnes delivered a pinch-hit solo shot and Wilin Rosario also drove in a run for the Rockies, who have won three straight games for the first time since June 13-15. De La Rosa (10-6) yielded one run and six hits in six innings.

Colorado's Carlos Gonzalez, who returned to the lineup for the first time since June 3 because of a benign tumor in his left index finger, went 1-for-4 and scored a run. Kris Johnson (0-1) allowed five runs and eight hits in four innings and Eduardo Nunez drove in both runs as Minnesota had its three-game winning streak snapped.

Charlie Blackmon led off the Colorado first with a single and Stubbs followed by belting a 2-0 fastball out to center - his 10th home run of the season. The Rockies extended their advantage to 3-1 in the third when Nolan Arenado (two hits) led off with a triple and scored on Rosario's single to right.

Gonzalez opened the fourth with a single and Tulowitzki promptly smacked his 21st homer - a towering shot to right on a 2-0 offering - to put Colorado on top 5-1.
Minnesota loaded the bases with two out in the seventh before Tulowitzki went into the hole and robbed Kurt Suzuki of a two-run single with a jump throw to first.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Gonzalez, who missed 35 games, also recorded an assist when he threw out Brian Dozier trying to go from first to third on a single in the third inning. ... Colorado 1B Justin Morneau went 0-for-4 in his first game against the Twins, with whom he won the 2006 American League MVP award and belted 221 home runs in 11 seasons. ... De La Rosa, who moved past Jeff Francis for the most wins by a left-hander in Rockies history with 65, grabbed his right hamstring running to first base while executing a sacrifice bunt in the second inning.
