Dodgers 6, Reds 1: Josh Beckett was dominant through six innings and Adrian Gonzalez doubled twice and drove in a run as Los Angeles stayed hot on the road.

Hanley Ramirez had a two-run single while Andre Ethier and Dee Gordon registered RBI doubles for the Dodgers, who have won the first two games of the four-game series to improve their road mark to 22-12, tops in the majors. Beckett (4-3), who also singled and scored a run, yielded two singles and a walk while striking out seven in his first road start since his no-hitter at Philadelphia on May 25.

Mike Leake (3-6) had one of the two hits off Beckett but was no match on the mound, giving up five runs on a season-high nine hits. Star first baseman Joey Votto came off the disabled list and went 1-for-3 with a walk for Cincinnati, which fell to 3-7 in its last 10 home games.

Gonzalez led off the top of the second with a double and Ethier drove him in one out later to start the scoring. Gordon followed Beckett's base hit with a double to make it 2-0 in the fifth and Ramirez then knocked in both runners with a single to right.

Leake was chased on Justin Turner's RBI base hit in the sixth and Gonzalez made it 6-0 when he doubled in Yasiel Puig in the seventh. The Reds pushed across a run on Zack Cozart's single in the seventh and had the bases loaded, but Todd Frazier grounded to shortstop for the final out.
