Astros 2, Orioles 1: Brett Oberholtzer outdueled Miguel Gonzalez and Jonathan Villar doubled in the go-ahead run as Houston edged visiting Baltimore to extend its winning streak to seven.

Robbie Grossman added an RBI double in support of Oberholtzer (2-6), who allowed one run and four hits in seven innings. Two relievers bridged the gap to Chad Qualls, who retired the final four batters to notch his fifth save.

Miguel Gonzalez (3-4) took a no-hitter into the sixth inning but ended up with the loss when he allowed two runs in the seventh. J.J. Hardy drove in a run and Adam Jones doubled and scored as the Orioles suffered their fourth straight loss and dropped below .500 at 26-27.

Baltimore got to Oberholtzer in the second when Jones led off with a double to left and Hardy followed Chris Davis’ flyout with a single to left to plate Jones. Gonzalez kept the Astros out of the hit column until Jose Altuve came up with one out in the sixth, bounced a grounder to deep short and beat Hardy’s throw.

Gonzalez worked out of the sixth with no damage but surrendered a double to Matt Dominguez leading off the seventh and Alex Presley’s one-out single put runners at the corners. Grossman followed and drove an RBI double off the wall in left and Villar bounced a 2-2 fastball off the warning track in right-center for an RBI ground-rule double that put the Astros on top and ended Gonzalez’s night.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Jones was shaken up in the second when he fouled a pitch straight down and had it ricochet up into his groin area but stayed in the game. … Astros rookie RF George Springer went 0-for-4 to snap an 11-game hitting streak. … The game was delayed nine minutes at the start as Houston celebrated guests of honor for the Civil Rights game.
