Cardinals 11, Phillies 3: Shane Robinson tied career highs with three hits and three RBIs and Jake Westbrook pitched seven solid innings as host St. Louis sent Philadelphia to its fourth straight loss.

Westbrook (7-4) recorded his fourth straight quality start, allowing three runs on nine hits. Phillies starter John Lannan (2-4) lasted only four innings, allowing four runs on eight hits.

Matt Adams drove in three runs and Yadier Molina went 3-for-5 for St. Louis, which has won nine of its last 10 home games. Allen Craig added two hits, running his hitting streak to nine games.

Adams started the scoring with a two-run single in the second, and the Cardinals kept piling on over the next three innings. Molina singled home a run in the third, and Matt Carpenter added an RBI single in the fourth.

St. Louis broke it open with a five-spot in the fifth, as David Freese and Adams smacked back-to-back run-scoring doubles and Robinson cleared the bases with a three-run triple when center fielder John Mayberry made an ill-advised attempt at a diving catch.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Phillies OF Domonic Brown sat out with concussion-like symptoms. He will miss at least one more game and could land on the seven-day concussion disabled list. … Brock Peterson recorded his first major-league hit for St. Louis, an RBI single in the eighth. … The Phillies designated C Humberto Quintero for assignment and recalled utility man Michael Martinez.
