Angels 12, Blue Jays 6: Mark Trumbo set career highs with five hits and five runs scored as visiting Los Angeles cruised past Toronto.

Trumbo had a single, three doubles and a home run while Erick Aybar, Josh Hamilton and Chris Iannetta also went deep in support of Jerome Williams (7-10). The trio of Trumbo, Hamilton and Iannetta - hitting 4-5-6 in the Los Angeles lineup - finished 11-for-14 with three home runs, nine runs scored and eight RBIs.

Toronto starter Mark Buehrle (11-8) had his shortest outing in a Blue Jays uniform, surrendering eight runs on 12 hits over four-plus innings. Anthony Gose had a grand slam while Rajai Davis added a solo home run in defeat.

After Aybar led off the game with a home run just over the left-field wall, the Angels extended the lead later in the inning on Hamilton's two-run single to right and Grant Green's RBI base hit to center. Gose got it all back an inning later, drilling a Williams pitch into the right-field seats for his first career grand slam.

Los Angeles went back in front in the third on Hamilton's single to center, and Trumbo made it 6-4 in the fifth with a solo shot to left. Hamilton followed with a blast off the right-field foul pole, Kole Calhoun chased Buehrle two batters later with an RBI double and the Angels tacked on three more runs in the sixth on the strength of Iannetta's two-run homer to left.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Williams went five innings and was charged with six runs on nine hits. ... The Angels recorded double-digit extra-base hits (10) for the 10th time in franchise history and the second time in 2013. ...
