Brewers 6, Dodgers 4: Carlos Gomez had three hits, including a go-ahead two-run homer in the seventh, and visiting Milwaukee ended a two-game losing streak against Los Angeles.

Brewers catcher Martin Maldonado added another two-run homer in the eighth, helping starter Wily Peralta (2-1) earn the victory after allowing three runs and six hits in six innings. Third baseman Yuniesky Betancourt contributed two hits and an RBI for the Brewers, but his fielding error with two outs in the ninth brought the winning run to the plate before closer Jim Henderson got A.J. Ellis to ground out to short for his sixth save.

The comeback by the Brewers spoiled the major-league debut of Dodgers' right-hander Matt Magill, who was an emergency call up from Triple-A Albuquerque after scheduled starter Stephen Fife was diagnosed with bursitis in his throwing shoulder. Fife was recently recalled to replace right-hander Chad Billingsley, who underwent Tommy John elbow surgery earlier this week.

Magill left after getting the first two outs in seventh, but reliever Paco Rodriguez gave up a bunt single to Norichika Aoki, prompting the Dodgers to bring in right-hander Matt Guerrier (1-1). He hung a breaking ball to Gomez, who deposited it into the seats in left.

After the Brewers scored two runs in the third off Magill, the Dodgers tied the score on an RBI single by Ellis in their half of the third and a throwing error by Milwaukee shortstop Alex Gonzalez in the fourth. Matt Kemp and Skip Schumaker singled to start the sixth for Los Angeles and Kemp later came home on a groundout by Luis Cruz for a 3-2 lead.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Magill is the ninth different starting pitcher the Dodgers have used this season. The last time they used nine or more starters through 23 games was in 1942. … Dodgers 2B Mark Ellis, who left Friday’s victory with a strained right quadriceps, has not been placed on the disabled list but was unavailable for Saturday's game. … Brewers RHP John Axford allowed a solo home run to Andre Ethier in the eighth, the fifth long ball he has allowed this season.
