Kevin Chapman (1-1) tossed a scoreless eighth to earn his first major-league victory and Josh Fields yielded a run in the ninth before registering his fourth save.

Abraham Almonte belted a two-run homer and Brad Miller added a solo shot for Seattle, which finished with only five hits in falling to 10-7 against Houston this season.
