Giants 10, Cubs 7 (10):
Hector Sanchez scored the go-ahead run on a balk in the 10th inning and visiting San Francisco capitalized on a major league record-tying five wild pitches to outlast Chicago.

Hunter Pence hit a solo home run in the ninth to force extra innings and Nick Noonan capped a four-run rally in the sixth with a two-run single for the Giants, who took three of four in the series. George Kontos (1-1) pitched the ninth for the win and Sergio Romo worked around a leadoff double to earn his seventh save.

Shawn Camp (0-1) is the third closer used by the Cubs this season and he became the third to blow a save when he surrendered Pence’s two-out solo blast to center field to knot the score at 7 in the ninth. Camp stayed on for the 10th and allowed back-to-back, one-out singles before forcing in the go-ahead run with a balk and yielding RBI hits to Buster Posey and Marco Scutaro.

Starlin Castro and Nate Schierholtz each belted a changeup from San Francisco starter Tim Lincecum into the stands for two-run homers in the first inning and Alberto Gonzalez added a solo shot in the seventh before pushing across the go-ahead run with a sacrifice fly in the eighth for Chicago.

The Giants took advantage of some wildness from Cubs pitchers to put together a four-run rally in the sixth. Starter Edwin Jackson and Michael Bowden combined to unleash five wild pitches and walk three batters in the frame, and the rookie Noonan’s two-run single put San Francisco on top 5-4.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Chicago C Steve Clevenger was diagnosed with a strained left oblique and placed on the 60-day disabled list. He was injured on the swing that ended Saturday’s contest. … The Cubs picked up RHP Kameron Loe off waivers from Seattle and signed RHP Kevin Gregg to a minor-league contract. … Gregor Blanco added two RBIs for San Francisco. ... There haven't been five wild pitches in an inning since Rick Ankiel uncorked that many while pitching for St. Louis in the 2000 National League Division Series.
