Orioles 3, Yankees 2 (10): Nate McLouth slammed a walk-off homer leading off the bottom of the 10th inning and host Baltimore snapped a six-game losing streak.

McLouth crushed a breaking ball off rookie left-hander Vidal Nuno (1-1) into the bleachers in right to make a winner out of Jim Johnson (4-2), who pitched a perfect 10th for the win after blowing three saves during the six-game skid.

Chris Dickerson had three hits and clubbed a pair of solo homers for the Orioles, who pulled within four games of AL East-leading New York. Travis Hafner had a pair of RBI singles for the Yankees, who fell to 19-1 when scoring first.

Hafner put the Yankees on top in the first inning with a two-out single to drive home Brett Gardner. After Dickerson went deep in the third, Hafner followed Vernon Wells' double with a single for a 2-1 lead, but Dickerson tied it at 2 in the fifth with his second blast.

Orioles right-hander Miguel Gonzalez, who came off the disabled list Tuesday to make his first start since May 3, gave up two runs on five hits in a season-high seven innings. New York's Phil Hughes surrendered both of Dickerson's homers among his five hits over six innings.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Dickerson's first home run, which came on a 10-pitch at-bat, extended his hitting streak to seven games. ... Hafner's run-scoring single in the fourth inning gave him RBIs in four consecutive at-bats for the Yankees, who became the last major-league team to lose after putting up the first run. ... To make room for Gonzalez on the roster, the Orioles optioned RHP Jair Jurrjens to Triple-A Norfolk. Jurrjens allowed four runs on six extra-base hits in five innings in his last start on Saturday.
