Mariners 8, Orioles 3:
Kendrys Morales had three hits and three RBIs and Michael Morse hit a two-run homer as host Seattle won the three-game series with Baltimore.

Michael Saunders added three hits and scored three runs, Jason Bay had two RBIs and Aaron Harang pitched six solid innings for his first victory with the Mariners. Harang (1-3) allowed two runs and four hits while striking out five.

Seattle had a 5-2 lead entering the bottom of the sixth before Morales doubled in two and scored on a sacrifice fly by Bay to give the Mariners a six-run bulge.

Bay had a run-scoring double in the first and Seattle scored twice in the second on RBI singles by Saunders and Morales. Morse hit his ninth homer of the campaign off Wei-Yin Chen (2-3) in the fourth to boost the lead to 5-0.

Baltimore’s Nick Markakis had a run-scoring single in the sixth and scored on a double by Adam Jones and Manny Machado added a homer in the eighth. Chen allowed five runs and eight hits in four innings.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Mariners 2B Dustin Ackley went hitless in three at-bats to end a 10-game hitting streak. … Seattle is 2-1 against Baltimore this season after the Orioles won eight of nine meetings in 2012. … Morse has homered in three of Seattle’s last four games.
