Brewers 9, Rockies 4: Alex Gonzalez had three hits and four RBIs, including a three-run homer to cap a six-run seventh inning, as host Milwaukee halted Colorado's three-game winning streak.

Rickie Weeks' RBI triple broke a 3-3 tie in the seventh and Ryan Braun homered and tripled as the Brewers won for only the third time in their last nine games.

Weeks scored on Carlos Gomez's single and Braun followed with a triple off the left field wall to make it 6-3 before Gonzalez deposited a 3-1 pitch into the Milwaukee bullpen.

Jose Veras (2-0) pitched a scoreless seventh and struck out two.

Troy Tulowitzki continued his assault on Milwaukee pitching with two RBIs, including a home run and a run-scoring single in the sixth to give Colorado a 3-2 lead. He is hitting .402 with eight homers and 24 RBIs in his career against the Brewers.

Braun's homer - his second - tied the game 3-3 in the sixth.

Marco Estrada, moved to the rotation to replace the injured Chris Narveson, pitched five innings, allowed two hits and struck out nine in his 10th career start. He yielded Tulowitzki's solo homer in the fourth.

Colorado left-hander Drew Pomeranz retired the first 12 batters before running into trouble in the fifth. Aramis Ramirez walked, Corey Hart doubled and after Ramirez scored on a passed ball, Gonzalez's ground-rule double drove in Hart before an out was recorded.

Colorado relievers Esmil Rogers (0-1) and Edgmer Escalona combined to allow seven runs in two innings.

Todd Helton hit his 350th career homer and his second in two games in the ninth for Colorado.
