Dodgers 7, Cubs 6:
Hanley Ramirez delivered a walk-off single as host Los Angeles came from behind twice to complete a three-game sweep of Chicago.

After the Cubs had tied it in the top of the ninth, Matt Kemp drew a one-out walk to begin the rally for the Dodgers. Andre Ethier, who drove in a pair of runs in the seventh, singled to put runners on the corners in front of Ramirez, who drove a single to left off Shawn Camp (2-5) for the winning run.

Luis Cruz singled in a pair while Juan Rivera and A.J. Ellis each drove in a run for the Dodgers, who remained one game behind the rival San Francisco Giants in the National League West.

Joe Blanton, who was acquired from the Philadelphia Phillies in a trade on Friday, made his debut for Los Angeles and pitched well in six innings, allowing two runs and five hits. The burly right-hander walked three and struck out five but did not factor in the decision.

The Dodgers took the lead for the first time with a three-run sixth inning, pushing a run across when Rivera drew a bases-loaded walk and making it a 4-2 edge when Cruz followed with a two-run single to left.

But two bullpen arms that Los Angeles imported prior to the trade deadline - Brandon League and Randy Choate - were charged with three combined runs in the seventh as the Cubs pulled ahead.

Los Angeles would regain the lead in the bottom of the frame as Mark Ellis and Kemp reached with two outs before Ethier sent a two-run double to right-center for a 6-5 edge.

Kenley Jansen (5-3) could not nail down the save in ninth inning. Anthony Rizzo led off and ripped a towering blast to right field, sneaking it over the fence and into the Cubs bullpen for his ninth home run.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Cubs traded veteran UT Jeff Baker to the Detroit Tigers earlier Sunday in exchange for two players to be named. … Chicago recalled 3B prospect Josh Vitters and CF Brett Jackson prior to the game. Jackson went 2-for-4 in his debut while Vitters sat out. Vitters will see most of his time against left-handed pitching and Jackson will get regular time in center field. … Los Angeles RHP Rubby De La Rosa (elbow surgery) suffered a groin injury during a rehab start on Saturday but does not expect to miss much time. The Dodgers are hoping to use De La Rosa out of the bullpen in September.
