Reds 12, Indians 5: Red-hot Brandon Phillips had three hits with a homer and four RBIs and Joey Votto belted a three-run homer as host Cincinnati completed a three-game sweep of Cleveland.

Ryan Ludwick also clubbed a two-run homer among his three hits and the Reds collected a season-high 17 hits in sweeping the Indians for the first time since 2008.

Shin-Soo Choo had a pair of solo homers and Asdrubal Cabrera and Lou Marson had three hits apiece for Cleveland, which lost for the fourth time in the last five games.

Jose Arredondo (4-1) pitched two-thirds of an inning to get the win in relief of starter Mike Leake, who was pulled after giving up three runs on seven hits in 4 1/3 innings.

Indians starter Josh Tomlin (3-4) was battered for six runs on 10 hits in four innings to suffer his first loss in five interleague decisions.

Votto's 12th homer in the first inning erased a 2-0 deficit and Phillips added a solo blast in the third and a two-run single in the fourth before the Reds broke it open with a five-run fifth to make it 11-3.

Cleveland's Michael Brantley extended his hitting streak to 21 games, the longest active streak in the majors.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Phillips went 8-for-13 with seven RBIs in the three-game series. He has four straight multi-hit games ... Reds manager Dusty Baker reacted angrily to Indians RHP Derek Lowe's postgame comments Wednesday, in which the veteran sinkerball said he didn't respect Baker over a past incident. The reaction by Baker: "I really don't care if he respects me or not. I don't really care what he says." ... Choo has six homers in 21 games against Cincinnati ... Reds CF Kris Negron had a pinch-hit single in the fifth for his first major-league hit. Teammate Chris Heisey left the game with a groin strain.
