Indians 3, White Sox 2 (2nd game): Asdrubal Cabrera collected three hits and scored the game-winning run on Shelley Duncan's RBI double in the eighth inning as host Cleveland completed a sweep of its doubleheader against Chicago.

Michael Brantley and Jason Kipnis ripped back-to-back RBI singles in the fifth inning for the Indians, who posted an 8-6 triumph earlier on Monday. American League Central-leading Cleveland has won three in a row and eight of its last 11.

After a 1-hour, 25-minute rain delay halted the game in the top of the eighth, Alex Rios tied it with an RBI single.

But the Indians answered in their half of the eighth inning when Cabrera led off the frame with a single to center off Matt Thornton (1-2) and advanced to third on Carlos Santana's base hit. After Travis Hafner popped out, Duncan belted a double to left to plate Cabrera with the winning run.

Joe Smith (2-1) relieved starter Josh Tomlin and permitted Rios' RBI single, but secured the final two outs of the eighth inning to pick up the victory. Tony Sipp struck out two in the ninth for his first save of the season.

Brantley, who drove in three runs during the opener, plated Lou Marson to tie the game at 1-1. Brantley advanced to second on the throw and scored after Kipnis deposited a breaking ball from starter Eric Stults into right field.
