White Sox 4, Athletics 0: Jake Peavy scattered three hits in a complete-game gem and Adam Dunn and Paul Konerko belted back-to-back homers in the fourth inning as visiting Chicago won its fourth in a row.

Alex Rios had three singles and Gordon Beckham and A.J. Pierzynski provided insurance with an RBI single in the ninth for the White Sox, who won their sixth straight road contest.

Peavy (3-0) retired the first nine batters he faced before allowing a single to Jemile Weeks to lead off the fourth inning.

The veteran hurler yielded a double to Cuban slugger Yoenis Cespedes in the seventh before finishing up his five-strikeout performance.

Bartolo Colon (3-2) permitted two runs on seven hits in seven innings for the Athletics, who have dropped three of their last four games.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Konerko's blast was his 399th of his career. ... Prior to the fourth-inning uprising, Oakland pitchers had not allowed a home run in the previous five games. ... The Athletics optioned infielder Josh Donaldson to Triple-A Sacramento to make room for third baseman Luke Hughes, who was claimed off waivers from Minnesota on Sunday.
